III International Symposium on Surface Imaging/Spectroscopy at the Solid/Liquid Interface

May 27th – June 1st, 2012, Cracow, Poland

Main topics of the Conference:

1.     Application of SPM techniques in studies to surfaces modified by metal oxides, semiconductors, polymers, colloids and nano-sized catalysts

2.     High resolution imaging of clusters, biomolecules and biological systems

3.     Advanced experimental techniques for in-situ characterization of electrochemical nano-sized materials

4.     Fundamentals of surface structure, reactivity and electron transfer – comparison of experimental and theoretical results

Organizing institutions:

Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences

Department of Chemistry, Warsaw University

Foundation “Pro Catalysis”, Cracow, Poland

Charmain of the conference: Andrzej Kowal

Organizer: Paweł Nowak

It is third conference in series. Two previous conferences under the same title had place in 2006 and 2009 and were very successful. On request we send the Book of abstracts from the previous conferences in digital form.In 2012 we expect participation of many outstanding specialists in the field of electrochemistry and nanoscience. The oral presentations will be only on invitation of the organizers, basing on the submitted abstracts, but every participant will have the opportunity to present unlimited number of posters. Two workshops: future of fuell cells and  nanoparticles at surfaces as well as two poster sessions are planned. First circular will be sent in the near future.
