Research topics:

Stability of colloid and bio-colloid systems. Electrokinetics phenomena with application to colloid and bio-colloid particles.

Adsorption of bio-molecules, macromolecules.

Rheology of suspension, dynamic viscosity measurements.

Methodology:

Diffusion coefficients, electrophoretic mobility and dynamic viscosity of polyelectrolytes and proteins.
Adsorption of proteins on solid/liquid interface using optical and fluorescent microscopy.
Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation monitoring (QCM-D)
