Research topics:

Preparation of new materials with multimodal (micro/meso/macro) pore structure.

Synthesis of crystalline, microporous materials (isomorphously substituted with different metals), synthesis of silica and/or alumina based mesoporous materials.

Post-synthesis modification of micro- and mesoporous materials by thermal, hydrothermal and chemical treatments.

Synthesis of zeolite membranes and their application in separation processes.

Application of FTIR spectroscopy for in-situ measurements (acidity, kinetic of sorption…).


Hydrothermal synthesis in static and dynamic conditions.

FTIR spectroscopy for structural analysis, acidity/basicity determination and catalytic activity measurement.

Low-temperature N2 sorption.

27Al and 29Si MAS NMR and XRD techniques (structural analysis, structure and nature of active sites).

SEM, EDX and TEM for analysis of the texture (morphology and crystal/particle size) and elemental microanalysis.
