Tematyka badawcza:

- Przygotowanie katalizatorów metalicznych i tlenkowych na podłożu tlenkowym oraz ich modyfikacja
- Badanie fizykochemicznych procesów na powierzchni otrzymanych układów
- Badanie natury wiązań chemicznych oraz stanu utlenienia i charakteru elektronowego cienkich warstw metalicznych i tlenkowych
- Przygotowanie cienkowarstwowych układów magnetycznych na podłożach monokrystalicznych oraz ich modyfikacja
- Badanie właściwości magnetycznych otrzymanych układów

Metodyka:

- Analiza powierzchni metodami spektroskopowymi (XPS, UPS, AES i LEED)
- Modyfikacja katalizatorów w reaktorze wysokociśnieniowym będącym częścią systemu UHV
- Analiza oddziaływań nadsubtelnych przy użyciu rezonansowej absorpcji kwantów γ (CEMS oraz spektroskopia Mössbauera w geometrii transmisyjnej)
- Analiza właściwości magnetycznych układów cienkowarstwowych oraz faz objętościowych (VSM, magnetometria SQUID, MOKE)
