Tematyka badawcza:

- Mechanizmy i kinetyka adsorpcji na powierzchniach: ciało stałe/ciecz, ciecz/ciecz oraz ciecz/gaz.
- Adsorpcja makrocząsteczek, protein, koloidów.
- Oddziaływania elektrostatyczne pomiędzy cząstkami.
- Stabilność układów koloidalnych i biokoloidalnych.
- Monowarstwy nano- i mikrocząstek na metalach (złoto, tytan).
- Zjawiska transportowe w układach zdyspergowanych i koloidalnych.
- Zjawiska elektrokinetyczne i osadzanie elektroforetyczne.- Reologia stężonych suspensji, efekty elektrowiskozowe.

Metodyka:

- Metody różnic skończonych.
- Symulacje numeryczne Monte-Carlo, RSA.
- Symulacje numeryczne, dynamika brownowska.
- Pomiary efektów elektrokinetycznych.
- Pomiary współczynników dyfuzji (DLS), ruchliwości elektroforetycznej, lepkości dynamicznej.
- Pomiary kinetyki osadzania cząstek, polileketrolitów i białek w naczyńkach przepływowych.
